Pay stub, vacation and sick balances on Web Feb. 10Faculty and staff payroll information, including current vacation and sick leave balances and historical information, soon will be available through a new Web service offered by Michigan Administrative Information Services. On Feb. 10, faculty and staff can log on to the Wolverine Access Gateway (http://wolverineaccess.umich.edu) to view and print their current pay stub. The site will provide all information currently printed on hard-copy pay stubs, and will contain archived data from the last two years. Employees will continue to receive their paycheck or direct deposit advice via U.S. mail. The automated telephone service that provided pay stub disbursement, and vacation and sick balances, was discontinued Feb. 5. "The University, like many organizations, is beginning to move administrative information to the Web for access by departments and individuals," says Norel Tullier, director of the University Payroll Office. "Payroll information was the only service still being delivered by an automated phone service that was implemented in the 1990s." After logging on to Wolverine Access, users should look for "My Personal Information" under the "Faculty and Staff" heading. A prompt will ask for the user's uniqname and UMICH (Kerberos) password. Pay stub information can be found under the "View Paycheck" button. The "View Paycheck" function on Wolverine Access, which is unavailable until 7 a.m. Feb. 10 due to the upgrade, operates 7 a.m.-2 a.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and noon-midnight Sunday. Questions about pay stub information should be directed to the HR/Payroll Service Center at (734) 615-2000 for Ann Arbor and U-M-Dearborn employees, and (810) 762-3150 for faculty and staff at U-M-Flint.
