Dental Health Day is Jan. 31

Residents of Ann Arbor and surrounding communities can receive free oral health care services during Dental Health Day Jan. 31 at the School of Dentistry.

Individuals as young as five years old can participate in the program between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. An appointment is not necessary; patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

About a dozen of the school's dental and hygiene faculty, along with 50 dental and hygiene students, will provide various services and oral hygiene instruction in clinics on the first floor of the Dental Building, 1011 N. University Ave.

Services will include oral cancer screenings, tooth decay examinations, screening x-rays and oral hygiene instruction. Treatments will not be provided.

For more information, call (734) 763-6933 or (888) 707-2500.
