Former U.S. senator and 2004 Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards spoke to hundreds of students on the Diag Oct. 28 about poverty in the United States. U-M was the 10th and final stop on Edwards' tour of college campuses to boost support for Opportunity Rocks, an organization that signs up students for volunteer work and food donations to aid the poor.
