Proposed revision to Regents' Bylaw 14.06

The following is a proposed revision of Regents' Bylaw 14.06. Those wishing to comment on the suggested changes should do so by Sept. 14 via e-mail to publiccomments@umich.edu.

Current Bylaw

Sec. 14.06. Nondiscrimination and Affirmative Action
(revised September 1993)

The University of Michigan is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for all persons regardless of race, sex, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, or Vietnam era veteran status. The University also is committed to compliance with all applicable laws regarding nondiscrimination and affirmative action.
