Question of the Week

What is your favorite part of the Ann Arbor art fairs?

Michael Boehnke, Richard G. Cornell Distinguished University Professor of Biostatistics, School of Public Health
“I like to see the art, and to avoid the thunderstorms. Particularly I enjoy the original art fair, which is heavily juried. I like to see high-quality art in an interesting surrounding.”

Jessica Edwards, administrative assistant, Chemical Biology Program
“The sales. I remember coming down to the art fair when I was in high school and finding beautiful skirts and dresses for $5 and $10 that I couldn’t buy in the Novi area. I still find amazing deals during art fair.”
Andy Cipa, U-M senior, Washington, Mich.
“I’ve never actually been to the art fairs. I’m looking forward to all the people and the art that’s being sold.”
