Senate secretary election results in tie vote

The university senate secretary election held at the May 17 Senate Assembly meeting, resulted in a tie vote, as incumbent secretary John Lehman and M. Robert Fraser, former Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs (SACUA) vice chairman, each garnered 14 votes. SACUA Chair Ed Rothman said the vote to determine a secretary will be revisited at today’s (May 24) SACUA meeting.
