Children’s Center moves

Effective Dec. 21 the U-M Health System Children’s Center moved from 2800 Plymouth Road, Building 75. The center now is housed at 2601 Glazier Way, campus zip code 2466, U.S. Mail Zip Code 48105-2466.

OHRCR office moves

Effective Dec. 14 the Office of Human Research Compliance Review moved from 300 N. Ingalls, Rooms 1164, 1166, 1168 and 1170. The new office location is 540 E. Liberty, campus zip code 2210 and U.S. Mail Zip Code 48104-2201.

Nominations accepted for 2011 Research Staff Awards

The Office of the Vice President for Research is seeking nominations for two staff awards: the Distinguished Research Administrator Award and the OVPR Exceptional Service Award. Award recipients receive an honorarium of $1,250 and a plaque, to be presented at a reception May 4. The nomination deadline is Jan. 21. Nominations sought for 2011 Research Faculty Awards

The Office of the Vice President for Research is seeking nominations for three faculty awards: the Collegiate Research Professorship, Research Faculty Achievement Award and the Research Faculty Recognition Award. The deadline is Feb. 21. Members of the Research Faculty Track with at least a 75 percent appointment are eligible. Tenured and tenure-track faculty are not eligible. Campus child care programs accredited

With support from the Work/Life Resource Center, eight Campus Child Care Homes Network programs have been awarded national accreditation by the National Association for Family Child Care. The network serves faculty, staff and students who need child care in greater Ann Arbor. Regents meeting Jan. 20

The Board of Regents will have its monthly meeting at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 20 in the Regents Room of the Fleming Administration Building. Public comments on agenda items will be taken prior to their consideration. Comments on nonagenda items will follow the regular business agenda. Mirlyn Mobile now available

MLibrary recently released Mirlyn Mobile, a new tool that provides basic Mirlyn functionality in a simplified interface designed specifically for mobile devices. It enables MLibrary users to easily search the catalog whenever and wherever they want. It is best viewed via smart phone or other mobile device, but also can be viewed in a regular browser.
