Ambulatory assessment abstracts sought

Poster abstracts for the Society for Ambulatory Assessment’s second biannual conference will be accepted until March 31. The abstracts will be presented as a part of the society’s conference June 24-26 in the Biomedical Science and Research Building. For more information go to sitemaker.umich.edu/saa2011/home.

Voices of the Staff seeks volunteers

Voices of the Staff is a volunteer-based program offering an opportunity to share ideas and define campus community issues. Volunteers serve for two years, meeting once each month for 1.5 hours, and attend a daylong annual meeting that is a highlight of the membership year. The deadline for application is March 31. URC presidents discuss state’s transformation

The presidents of the University Research Corridor institutions and the Michigan Economic Development Corp. share a stage from 8:30-10 a.m. today (March 21) to map out emerging business and job growth prospects at a business breakfast co-hosted by the URC and WWJ Newsradio 950. The interactive panel discussion is at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel, Ballroom B, 21111 Haggerty Road, Novi. The discussion features U-M President Mary Sue Coleman, MEDC President and CEO Michael Finney, Wayne State University President Allan Gilmour and Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon.
