Award of Excellence nominations sought
The U-M Association of Administrative Office Professionals (UM-AAOP) Award of Excellence program seeks nominees. The sixth annual award recognizes and celebrates an administrative professional who has made significant contributions in support of established departmental/service area or overall institutional strategic goals. The Board of Regents will have its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. in the Michigan Union Pendleton Room. To offer public comment at the meeting, sign up in advance at www.regents.umich.edu/meetings/publform.html. Public comments on agenda items will be taken prior to their consideration. Comments on nonagenda items will follow the regular business agenda. VOICES of the Staff, which gives staff a way to share ideas with university executives on campus issues, is seeking volunteers. Staff with at least one year of service can submit an application. Applicants are selected to create a microcosm of the larger staff community. VOICES volunteers meet for 1 1/2 hours each month. For more information and to apply, go to www.voices.umich.edu.
