Service projects honored in Washington, D.C.

U-M was among higher education institutions recently honored with distinction at the 2013 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll announcement in Washington, D.C. To illustrate the university’s commitment to service, the following programs were showcased: the College of Pharmacy’s Service Learning Partnership with Hope Clinic, the Residential College’s “Telling It” program, and Project Community, a collaboration between the Sociology Department and the Ginsberg Center in Student Affairs.
