MHealthy offers online depression screenings
Today is National Depression Screening Day and in support of that MHealthy Understanding U is offering online screenings for depression and other common mental health conditions. The screenings are available anytime. Confidential, in-person depression screenings also will be available today for campus employees through the UMHS Employee Assistance Program.
Tours to provide glimpses of unseen aspects of cultural facilities
Visitors can take a rare look inside U-M’s museums, archives, libraries and gardens during Behind the Scenes Days this Friday and Saturday. The event will offer tours of laboratories, exhibit preparation areas and other spaces not usually open to the public. U-M buses will part from North University Avenue, in front of the Dental School, providing free rides between the more distant U-M buildings and gardens.
Emergency Alert system test scheduled for Friday
The semester test of the U-M Emergency Alert system is expected to be conducted mid-day Friday. The Department of Public Safety anticipates sending one message with this test, which may be canceled without notice. In case of an actual emergency, more information and incident updates will be posted on the DPS Web site.
