No-cost clinics set for university employees for 2012-13 flu season
There are many ways for U-M faculty, staff and students to receive a seasonal flu vaccine on campus this year. MHealthy has scheduled three walk-in flu-shot clinics for Central, North and South campus faculty and staff. Employees covered under a U-M health insurance plan will not pay an out-of-pocket fee if they present their insurance card.

University reminds campus community of election-related dates, events
The deadline to register to vote in Michigan for the 2012 general election is Oct. 9, and university officials are encouraging people in the U-M community to make their voices heard. Those who plan to vote in Ann Arbor can register at City Hall. The Secretary of State's mobile branch unit will be on campus Sept. 28 to assist with Michigan voter registration and absentee ballot applications.

New Ross MBA students innovate Detroit with #RossLeaders
More than 500 new MBA students at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, in a challenge designed to welcome them to the school and impart lessons from the Ross Leadership Initiative, were given seven days to create a new for-profit business to add social and economic value to the city of Detroit.

The two meet in the person of LSA alumna Nicole Laurin-Walker. By day she’s a judge in Maricopa County, Ariz. But by night she goes by the stage name Nicole Laurenne, the head-turning lead singer of The Love Me Nots, based in Phoenix.
