The Record Update is a daily online source of the latest news about U-M tailored specifically for faculty and staff. A permanent link to the Record Update is on the U-M Gateway, www.umich.edu. The Record Update combines original content and material posted to other campus and external Web sites. Although the Record Update maintains an archive of the daily page, linked stories that reside on other campus or external Web sites may not always be available from the archived page.

The Record Update is a companion publication to the University Record, U-M’s longstanding weekly newspaper. The University Record Web site will continue in its present form . Each publication has unique features not found in the other, but both feature news about and for faculty and staff.

The Record Update is delivered daily via e-mail to all U-M current, permanent faculty and staff, as well as others who subscribe to the Update mailing list. To unsubscribe send e-mail to RecordUpdate-Request@umich.edu with the word UNSUBSCRIBE as the SUBJECT of the message.
