Lusmann elected to fill SACUA vacancy

The faculty Senate Assembly has elected Stephen Lusmann, associate professor of music (voice), to fill a vacancy on the Senate Advisory Committee for University Affairs. Lusmann will replace Huey-Ming Tzeng, associate professor in the School of Nursing, who stepped down for personal reasons. Lusmann had sought the position during regular elections in the spring and was the fourth-highest vote getter among candidates seeking three open seats. He will serve out the remainder of a three-year term that expires in 2012.
