U-M-MSU blood drive

In the Face-Off Blood Challenge, which opened Sunday, U-M and Michigan State University compete to see which school can collect more blood donations by Feb. 10. Students, staff, faculty and community members can donate at one of more than 35 sites across campus. Donors are encouraged to sign up prior to donating blood at using the sponsor code goblue. A list of sites is at the American Red Cross website. The event is sponsored by the Red Cross and the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity.

Shaun Manning, promotions coordinator, U-M Press, on his work with the U-M Press: “It’s great when there is real discussion surrounding a book and its ideas, whether that’s in a classroom, in the popular media or between scholars.”
