Award of Excellence nominations sought

The U-M Association of Administrative Office Professionals (UM-AAOP) Award of Excellence program seeks nominees. The sixth annual award recognizes and celebrates an administrative professional who has made significant contributions in support of established departmental/service area or overall institutional strategic goals. Award recipients also receive a $500 cash prize. The submission deadline is March 16. For more information go to

Regents meeting March 15

The Board of Regents will have its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. in the Michigan Union Pendleton Room. To offer public comment at the meeting, sign up in advance at Public comments on agenda items will be taken prior to their consideration. Comments on nonagenda items will follow the regular business agenda. VOICES seeks volunteers

VOICES of the Staff, which gives staff a way to share ideas with university executives on campus issues, is seeking volunteers. Staff with at least one year of service can submit an application. Applicants are selected to create a microcosm of the larger staff community. VOICES volunteers meet for 1 1/2 hours each month.
