MHealthy Rewards appointments still available

On-site wellness screening appointments still are available for employees, who will qualify for a $100 before-tax reward and prize packages worth up to $750 each. Employees who complete the wellness screening and health questionnaire by May 31 will be entered into the MHealthy Rewards Grand Prize Drawings. Six randomly selected winners will win prizes include a travel voucher, personal chef service, exercise equipment, sporting equipment and gift cards. Go to www.MHealthy.umich.edu/rewards to complete the health questionnaire and schedule a wellness screening. Email questions to mhealthy@umich.edu.

Tauber Institute wins Smith Prize

The Tauber Institute for Global Operations has been awarded the first UPS George D. Smith Prize for effective and innovative preparation of students to be good practitioners of operations research, management science or analytics. The prize, accompanied by a $10,000 cash award, recognizes academic leaders who effectively prepare students and expose them to the value of operations research and its benefits to society.
